The thorium samples are thorite – a naturally occurring ore.
The uranium samples are small fragements of “radioactive red” Fiestaware – mid 20th century dishes that used uranium oxide for color.
The latest batch includes the entire decay chain of the respective elements on the back:
Ebay rejected my first auction – claiming I was selling hazardous materials – but they seem to be OK now that I’ve added some additional text quoting postal regulations.
